The members of the Bacchus Piano Trio have been playing together in different chamber music formations since 2004. Building on their very evident rapport, they came together as a trio in 2009. Each of the players is well established and they are much in demand as soloists and chamber musicians; between them they have won nearly every available major award and prize for young solo musicians in the UK, as well as accolades from beyond.

 Ruth Jenkins is a welcome addition to the Peter Gould Music Trust's concert series this year as a thoroughly enchanting and adept performer, showcasing "a voice with rich timbres and clear and feisty forward projection." Ruth is currently studying with Lillian Watson and Audrey Hyland on the Opera Course at the Royal Academy of Music, and will be favouring us with some repertoire from English song, French Mélodie and German Lieder.

Over the last two years O Duo has made their BBC Proms debut, won a Special Commissioning Award from the Borletti-Buitoni Trust and been appointed Artistic Directors of the Children’s Classic Concerts series in Scotland.
